Celebrities and experts alike have huge opportunity to grow their following through social media. Shaq on Twitter , Kanye West Blogging, famous people are slowly realizing they can further connect with their tribe online!

People want to see real stuff from real people. As we know America is obsessed with celebs–if your already a celeb, giving people a sneak peak into your life on a daily basis is huge. Rapper Q-Tip is using Twitter, connecting with fans, informing them of shows and postings links to videos/articles that interest his followers.

If your an expert in a field, or would like to be known as an expert, social media is your place to be. Before the internet, you were the local expert and if you got lucky and met the right people you could become world renown. Today, anyone with the right ammount of patience and persistance can cement themselves as an expert through their blog and other social media tools; just check out Gary Vaynerchuk.

The most recent expert/celebrity coach to join the social media game is Tony Robbins, world renown author, speaker, self-help guru just opened his blog at http://tonyrobbinstraining.com , already recieving 500+ comments in the first two days. Tony has changed thousands upon thousands of lives and if you’ve ever been to one of his talks you know how serious his tribe is. Tony’s tribe has been a lifetime of hardwork, leading people in the right direction; imagine social media had been around when Tony was starting out at age 17.
