Networking tip: Followbacks on Twitter are Key

If you want to forge real relationships on Twitter, you have to follow back everyone. If you are worried about seeing your “real friends” and the people with quality tweets, put them in a group on Tweetdeck! Here are the advantages of following everyone back.

Excellent point. I'm about 2 weeks into using SocialToo (http://socialtoo.com/) and it's very helpful at keeping me disciplined. I have it set up to instantly follow back anyone who follows me and also email me a daily update with new followers. I can then check out my new followers in one sitting.
