Nice site, love the video format... although I think the background for your videos could use a bit of sprucing up! :-) Anyways, just wanted to say well done for quitting the dreaded 9 to 5. It's a tough step to take, especially if you don't have an income in place just yet.

I made the leap a couple of years ago and, in theory, was going to spend load sof time on building my business. I've instead spent loads of time travelling and not a lot of time working but I'm pulling things together now and looking forward to the future.

Hi Kirsty thanks for your encouragement. I agree the background was weak--I also could have been a lot more excited about quitting my job.

My content is really going to grow so people can get to know me as an entrepreneur, I think it's huge in building a personal brand. Sometimes I feel blogging is a chore, and I don't want it to be that way what so ever. If I'm pumped about something I want it to show in my videos... my next post: Life is Not a Chore--my 9-5 was and it spilled over into other areas!

Time to fix it!

Matt - congrats on making the leap. I've been working full time since I graduated last year and am planning my escape too. I too feel a little awkward talking about living the dream, running your own business, and not working a job you don't like on Dorm Room Biz while at the same time I'm doing the opposite - working for "the man". Soon, soon it will all fall together!

Things are not doing too bad. Been crazy busy with other projects that I havent had the time to focus on actual blogging as much as I wanted, but I'm trying to fix that. If you're interested in doing a guest post at some point, hit me up.
