Matt, thanks so much for the love! You raise so many great advice points here. I think prenetworking with specific people that you would like to meet is very important so that when you get to the Summit Series (by the way, you're so lucky really wish I was going with you) you have already established rapport and have a Major head-start on building relationships.

I think taking pictures is great too! As you've blogged about before, it's not what you know but more so about who you know and who knows you. It can be a very good credibility indicator to have pictures with successful friends that you have met at a conference, etc.

I'd like to add one strategy to the "take pictures" advice that you gave: after the conference, follow up by sending the pictures to each individual you took them with! It's a great way to ensure that those you met can remember you with ease. After I sent a picture I took with the successful author/entrepreneur Barry Moltz from the CEO conference, he featured it in his blog! You never know where things can lead sometimes.

I believe this is one of the best points you can make about preparing for an event, know who will be there! If you have a list of attendees or can see who RSVPd, you will know who you want to meet. It is so easy to connect with people if you have a genuine motive to build relationships at events.
